Based on Psalm 66:1-9
The key phrase in this psalm is verse 5,
Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds among mortals.
Psalm 66:5 NRSV
The psalmist, in the heart of the Hebrew scriptures, which are all about the blessing of God toward the nation of Israel, issues a special invitation to ALL people to come and to see what God has done.
That is our assignment. It isn’t to convert people, per se, or to save anyone. Our task is to go to everyone we can with an open invitation for all to come and see the goodness of God at work in the world.
Everyone who personally encounters the living God is forever changed, forever struck by the greatness of his power and the goodness of his love.
