Pastors are experiencing a level of pain I haven’t seen in 26 years of ministry. I wondered if perhaps my frame of reference was simply too limited, but my friend Gerald, a Lutheran Teaching Pastor, echoed the same sentiment about the 44 years he’s been in ministry. It’s hard right now!
Because of that, I’ve spent this week brainstorming a whole new course and coaching program to help pastors lead from a healthy place. I’ll share more about that soon, but I also published an article about how pastors can encourage one another, which I believe is part of the solution, for sure.

Also, the Church Mental Health Summit happened this past Tuesday, so it’s too late to register for free, but if you’d like access to all of the sessions as a library to share with members of your team, you can still do that.

In this coming weekend’s Lectionary readings are passage from Philippians and from Psalm 23. I have shared over the last two weeks a link to an entire Philippians series with outlines you can freely use or share.
And this week, I’m releasing a 4-week sermon series with outlines based on Psalm 23 called Fearless (see below).
Let’s keep praying for peace and protection for innocent lives in the Middle East, and let’s keep growing from the inside out!

PS – I have some openings right now in terms of website development projects (my “day job”). If you’re in need of a new or redesigned website for your church, yourself, or another business or organization, I would love to have a brainstorming meeting with you!
This Week’s Big Sermon Idea
Fearless! A Sermon Series Based on Psalm 23
In a world of worry and hurry, God calls us to trust in him as our Great Shepherd. Jesus demonstrates for us a life of leading people by the still waters and green pastures. This 4-week message series is based on the 23rd Psalm.

Is It Time for a Website Redesign?
When I start a website redesign project – for a church, a nonprofit, leader/pastor/speaker, etc. – I get obsessed with the details. I want it to shine! And more importantly, I want it to show up in search results.
If your website feels “clunky” or disorganized, hard to navigate, hard to find using Google, or just outdated in its style, let’s talk!! This is what I do!
Visit my creative services page and use the form to let me know about your current site, what you’d like to improve, and the budget you want to work within and we’ll have a conversation!
