The most powerful force on earth is love, and we who have received and experienced the love of God have been so filled with love that we can overflow with love toward others.

[11] Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus direct our way to you. [12] And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you.
How do you overflow with love?
1. Receive a superabundant measure of love from God.
Overflowing with love is a work of God. It starts with receiving his love. We love, because he first loved us. You can’t give what you don’t possess. You must receive his love and deepen your understanding, every day, of just how much he loves you.
- God loves you with his emotions. (He sets his affection on you.)
- God loves you with his actions. (See Romans 5:8)
- God loves you with his instructions. (See Psalm 119)
2. Give a superabundant measure of love to others.
- Love the church.
- Love the world.
It really is THAT simple! Don’t complicate it. Just receive and become love.
